If you are considering transferring to Lovecraft Middle School, you may need more than the usual school supplies. Here is a list of items that may be of use to you in the future. WARNING: If you have not read all four books in the series, this post may contain spoilers.
1. Journal – While journaling is tedious, it is extremely useful. Reviewing journal entries from multiple people can help create a timeline or connect clues. With all the strange occurrences happening at the school, it is best to keep track of them all and figure out what the heck is going on! Also, keeping track of creatures can be difficult; listing out who is what could be helpful.
2. Map of the school – With a school as large and complex as Lovecraft Middle School, a map will come in handy. There are so many rooms and hallways it is easy to get lost or not even know where a room is located! Not to mention, you really should keep track of all the known portals.. You don’t want to accidently stumble into Tillinghast’s mansion.
3. Jacket – I know this sounds silly, but a jacket can hide your two-headed rat, hold keys, and keep you warm when locked inside the school in the middle of a blizzard.
5. Charm bracelet or key ring – This is more of a keepsake than a necessity. On those normal days at school, when you begin to forget the dangers around you or doubt yourself, just take a glance at your charms. Each charm represents a monster you have kept from destroying the school and all those in it. You did that! You are more capable than you realize and the school is far from being normal.
